My Intro
My name is Colleen Schaeffel. As a daughter, I have observed firsthand the devastation of addiction and what it took helping my father find recovery. In the process I overcame adversity and broke through a tough cocoon. I am now a wife, mother of three, an author, a medical provider, and a motivating thought leader delivering a message of hope.
Bringing Hope
The reason I am sharing my memoir and providing resources on this site is to bring hope to others in need. Hope that there is a better way, a way to find peace and purpose in your life. Dealing with addiction and family dysfunction is unfortunately common, but it doesn't have to define or defeat us. I am here to share what helped me be the person I was meant to be despite my past.
